A servant of Jesus Christ, I was saved at age eleven ; obedient unto baptism at age twenty-two. I united in holy matrimony to Rose Ella Harris on June 6,1970 and united with Mt.Horeb Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. Samuel H. Smith in November 1970. After honorable discharge from the U.S.Army in 1972, I was placed on the board of Deacons at Mt. Horeb in January 1973. I remain an active member, having served in various capacities over the years. One of my deepest passions is the study and sharing of God’s Holy Word with both saved and lost people,with the purpose that we all can become better people if we commit ourselves to knowing and obeying His word. In sincere effort to become a better bible student and teacher, I spent six years at the Gospel Ministry Outreach Theological Institute, where I received a Doctorate in Theology in November 1991. I am very excited about working with the Felicia Young Ministries, which will expand opportunities to “spread the Word” to both saved and lost people through witnessing, teaching and showing love in action.
